Weekend Adventures

This past weekend was so relaxing. It didn’t fly by like normal. We spent it up in the mountains, but took our time heading out the door Saturday morning as opposed to the usual rush we are in. We spent the day fishing on a river (aka I read by the river bank while the hubs fished). And later we met out friends in Winter Park where we enjoyed their friend’s “cabin” and strolling main street enjoying patio seating happy hours and home made fudge. The hubs also got his lumberjack on to help chop some firewood for the winter.

We also scored an amazing vintage chair at a roadside sale we spontaneously stopped at (more on that to come in another post)!

I so grateful for all the blessings the Lord has bestowed on us, and have really been focusing on taking in each moment as a gift. Take time to do that, and the days don’t fly by as fast.

I hope your weekend was just as relaxing. Enjoy some photos from ours!
