Growin’ Up!

Last week my sister-in-law went off to college. When I first met her she was in middle school. Crazyyy! Living in the dorms is one of those really important college experiences (some people have better experiences than others…) and of course any girl wants a cute dorm room! I made this mood board for Romy to give her some ideas 🙂 She already had a teal bedspread so I started with that! What do you think!?

If you are interested in having a custom mood board created for YOUR space, check out my design business, Main Street Charm, (website here for more details) and contact me! Also, be sure to “like” my facebook page!

Business Expansion!

A month or so ago I shared about my business venture called Main Street Charm offering e-design packages. Well, now I also offer graphic design of invitations, announcements, thank you cards, and whatever else type of stationary product you can think of!

Pricing is $15 for complete custom design and $5 for previously designed products (includes customization of name and information).

Two exciting announcements!

Hey friends! So I have been leading up to one of these announcements the past few weeks and I’m excited that I can finally make it official! I have decided to launch my own freelance online design business. It is called Main Street Charm and I offer online design services, as well as in-house consultations and home staging services for local customers. Also, hoping to expand to offering more graphic design options in the future such as creating invitations, moving announcements, graduation announcements, etc. Here is a peek at some of the product you could receive should you decide to hire me!

A basic package would include a floor plan and a concept board (shown below are 2 options for the same client):

With the next level package, you will also receive elevations and a shopping resource list!

There is also an optional 3D drawing add on, digital or hand rendered.

I’m pretty excited about it, let me know what you think!

Exciting announcement #2 is that I will be starting an internship at a design firm next week! It is a part-time job that works great with my nanny schedule and will last 6 months before re-evaluating. The firm specializes in multi-family housing which combines residential and commercial..a great fit for me since I can’t decide which one I like more! I’m very grateful for this opportunity and I am excited to see where it leads!

Happy Tuesday!
